MarineShift360 is a free to access Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) tool created to enable designers, engineers, naval architects, boat builders and their supply chain partners to quantify the environmental impact of the products they produce.

The MarineShift360 Impact Accelerator Programme is a free of charge, 12-month initiative designed to catalyse real, measurable change within the marine industry.
We work with upto 3 companies per year to accelerate the marine industries transition to a low carbon future.
Applications are open from November 1st to December 31st each year.

This includes hands on guidance to develop ground up LCA models, materials and manufacturing optimisation, waste reduction, supply chain optimisation, stakeholder education and much more.

Ollie Taylor
PROJECT DIRECTOR
Ollie has over 15 years of experience working with leading brands in the marine industry, specialising in the development of products that minimize environmental impact.
A sustainability strategist, LCA practitioner, and impact-oriented problem solver, Ollie’s journey in marine innovation is driven by a passion for challenging the status quo and uncovering solutions that truly reduce the marine industries impact.
Since 2022, Ollie has led the MarineShift360 project, delivering lifecycle assessments across a wide spectrum of marine products, offering clients insights that translate into real-world, low-impact solutions. -
Craig Simmons
TECHNICAL ADVISOR - ANTHESIS
A founding member of the MarineShift360 project, Craig has over 25 years experience delivering sustainable change for business.
Pragmatic and action-oriented, Craig helps businesses develop innovative and transformational solutions to environmental challenges; operational, reputational, regulatory and supply chain.
Craig believes that every risk also presents an opportunity for business improvement and leadership
Through his role at Anthesis, who originally developed MarineShift360, Craig continues to contribute to the success of the project.

DATABASE MANAGER
Michel is a highly respected marine industry LCA expert, having helped develop the MarineShift360 tool over the last 7+ years.
Michel has worked within the manufacturing segment of the marine industry for over 25 years and has detailed knowledge of the latest production techniques and decarbonisation options within high performance composites, rigging and sails
Michel is the brains behind the primary LCI database within MarineShift360 and works closely with the industries supply chain to ensure the tool has the most accurate datapoints

BEN DIALLO
SOFTWARE DEVELOPER
Ben is a highly talented software developer, having built the original MS360 tool back in 2018 and continues to develop the tool to ensure it meets the evolving needs of the marine industry from both a user and regultatory perspective.
Ben holds a Masters degree in Environmental Science from INSA Lyon and manages the day to day software development of the tool alongside ensuring the project always utilises the latest scientific developments in the world of lifecycle assessment.
